Metallic mineralscontain metal in

Nonmetallic donot contain

metals.

These metals aregenerally

associated withigenous rocks.

These metals aregenerallyassociated with

sedimentary rocks.

They are usually hard and have

shine of their own.

They are notusually hard and

have no shine oftheir own.

Examples: iron,copper, bauxite,

lead and tin.

Examples: salt,coal, mica,gypsum, quartz

and clay.
